There is no account, no name and no email unless you choose to send yourself a copy of your board. What you tell the tool (your discipline, where things stand, your region and care setting), your card placements and ratings, and the questions you type shape the guidance you get. Questions are sent to an AI service to generate grounded answers.

Your answers sit together under a session number that points at nobody, so you can close the app and pick it up again, on this device or another, via a resume link. Three things can still identify you, and none of them are inside the tool: your resume link opens your session for anyone who has it, so keep it private; the organisation you name is stored as you typed it — a large, common name tells us nothing, a small or distinctive one can identify you; and anything you write in your own words can identify you the same way it would in an email. Sessions untouched for 30 days are deleted.

If you are one of a small number of people invited to test this, your board can be guessed at from timing alone — that risk disappears once many people are using the tool. The other three do not.

A session cookie keeps your place while you use the tool. There are no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics scripts. To apply fair-use limits, the tool gives your browser a random signed identifier in a cookie — and when no cookie arrives, it falls back to a one-way anonymised code derived from your connection. Both work like a turnstile count: they say “same visitor”, never who, and cannot be turned back into you.

The tool also has a small feedback box. If you leave a thought or answer its three rating questions, exactly what you typed and chose is kept — along with which screen you were on, and with nothing that identifies you, not even the turnstile count — read to improve the tool, and deleted within a year. Leave personal details out of it; if some slip in and you want them removed sooner, write to the address below.

During onboarding, you'll be asked what kind of organisation you work in — a hospital, a policy body, industry, and so on. It is entirely optional, skippable, and never shown back to you as a judgement. The tool also quietly notes which country you are connecting from (never your city or address), so we understand who the tool serves.

Before launch, the front page offers to email you when the tool opens. The wording beside the field is the whole deal: one email at launch, nothing more. Your address is delivered to InterAlign Organisation Ltd and used for that notice alone. To come off the list, write to daniel@interalign.org and your address is removed.

The tool runs on a small set of services, each doing one job: Anthropic generates answers from the questions you type; Voyage AI turns text into search coordinates so the knowledge base can be searched; Neon hosts the database that stores sessions; Resend delivers email; Vercel hosts the app. Each receives only what its job requires.

Anonymised patterns from sessions may inform how the tool improves, and would carry over if the tool changes hands.
